GENERAL BEACH RULES
·
The Ocean and ·
No children under the age of 12 are
allowed at the Ocean or ·
Beach Badges must be worn by all
persons 12 years and older on the Ocean and ·
All instructions of the Lifeguards
must be obeyed. ·
Swim at your own risk. ·
Do not sit directly in front of the
Lifeguard stands. ·
Fireworks
are not permitted on the beaches at any time. ·
Vandalism of any sort will not be
tolerated. Violators will be
prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. ·
Ball playing, Frisbee throwing,
paddleball playing, etc. are not permitted along the waters edge, in close
proximity to sunbathers, or as otherwise directed by the Lifeguards. ·
No loud music at the beaches at any
time. ·
No profane language at the beaches at
any time. ·
No pets permitted on Ocean or ·
No eating or drinking on beaches. ·
All trash, including cigarette
and cigar butts, must be placed in trash receptacles or carried off
the beach. ·
No fires allowed at any time. ·
Holes dug on the beach must be no
deeper than two (2) feet and must be filled in before leaving the beach. ·
No launching or beaching of motorized
watercraft or non-motorized watercraft exceeding fourteen
feet in length on the beaches at any time. ·
Non-motorized
watercraft fourteen feet or less in
length may be launched outside the designated swim area. ·
All persons launching non-motorized
watercraft from the beach MUST wear a lifejacket. ·
No storing of watercraft on the
beaches at any time. OCEAN BEACH RULES ·
Swimming is permitted only in the
swim area, designated by the flags, as determined by the Lifeguards. ·
Inflatable Rafts and Boogie Boards
are permitted only in area designated by flags, as determined by the
Lifeguards. ·
Inflatable Boats and Tubes and
Noodles are NOT permitted in
the Ocean. ·
Skim Boarding is only permitted outside the designated swim area. ·
Surfing is only permitted outside the designated swim area. ·
Fishing is only permitted outside the designated swim area. ·
Kite flying is prohibited while
Lifeguards are on duty. ·
No trespassing on dunes. ·
Always point umbrellas into the wind
to avoid dangerous situations. On extremely windy days, Lifeguards may ask
that umbrellas be taken down. ·
Parents are reminded that NJ State
Law requires all children, ages 17 and younger, must wear appropriate helmets
when riding on bicycles, scooters or skateboards. |

applicable for EACH property owned by a Voting Member. ·

Upon payment of the current year’s
Dues and Assessments, if applicable, each Voting Member will receive eight
(8) Member’s Beach Badges, which permit the Member and their family and
guests to use the Ocean and ·
Additional Member’s Beach Badges may
be purchased at any time at the current year’s rate. ·
Member’s Beach Badges may either be
picked up at the Spring Meeting or at the Badge House during the Season. ·
Member’s Beach Badges are for the
sole use of Members, their family, and their guests. ·
Member’s Beach Badges may only be
used when the Member’s family is in attendance. ·
Guest’s may not use
Member’s Beach Badges when the Member’s family is not in
attendance. ·
Renters may not use
Member’s Beach Badges at any time. ·
Members allowing such guests or
renters to use a Member’s Beach Badge will be subject to a fine of $350, confiscation of the
Member’s Beach Badges and suspension of membership privileges until the fine
is paid. ·
Lost Member’s Beach Badges may be
re-purchased for remainder of the Season. ·
Members found to be in repeated
violation of the Associations By-Laws and/or Rules and Regulations may have
their Membership suspended or terminated by a majority vote of the Executive
Committee. GROUND RULES
·
All properties must be kept neat and
clean. ·
Members must comply with local
regulations and health codes. ·
All
noise is to be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM
daily. ·
Members are responsible for the
conduct of their renters and guests. ·
No parking on streets. ·
Observe posted speed limits. ·
No sleeping in any vehicle at any
time. ·
Renters are not allowed to
bring pets to ·
Members’
pets must be curbed on their OWN PROPERTY and all waste
disposed of properly, in a sealed bag or suitable waste container. Do not
throw animal waste into a storm sewer, since they drain right into the Bay! ·
Do not forget to clean up after
your pet!! |
2010 BEACH BADGE RATES

The
general public, including Guests and Renters of
Non-Members, may purchase Daily Beach
Badges at the Badge House or from the Badge Checker at the ·
The cost for these Daily Beach Badges
is $8.00 ·
Guests
or Renters of a Member, after completing a Personal
Contact Form at the Badge House, may purchase discounted Beach Badges, as
follows: ·

Lost Beach Badges must be
