About Us

Silver Beach is an unincorporated land development situated on a barrier island between Barnegat Bay and the Atlantic Ocean in Toms River Township, New Jersey .

The property owners in Silver Beach have established the Silver Beach Association (“Association”), a private organization incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey. The Association and its operations are run by an Executive Committee, which consists of four Officers and seven Trustees elected from the Association’s membership. Each Executive Committee member is elected to a two year term.

The Association owns and operates the beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and on Barnegat Bay in Silver Beach. The Association employs an experienced, well trained and well equipped lifeguard staff to protect beach goers each summer season.

The Association’s Ocean Beach is located between Fishermans Road and South Surf Road, and includes a swimming area; an area for using rafts and boogey boards; an area for surfing, fishing and skim boarding; as well as a volleyball court.

The Association’s Bay Beach is located along Route 35 South between North Lagoon Road and Silver Beach Road, and includes a Kayak Launch area; a playground area; several Gazebos and, a tennis court (open to the Association’s tennis members only). The bay beach is closed to swimming.

Our beaches are also open to the general public.
